Happs's MacBook thread reminded me I went to see Steve Jobs last weekend.
It follows the same formula as The Social Network, where it focuses on just a few key points in his life rather than an end-to-end biopic which is always hard to pull off in a couple of hours. It is focused around his relationship with his daughter] (not really a spoiler but rather a well-known issue if you are familiar with him).
Aaron Sorkin's fast-paced script I'm not sure suited Steve Jobs that well, but then I'm not that familiar with what he was like outside of Apple conferences (which are the main settings in the movie too). Still, I thought it did well to capture his flawed genius. Kate Winslett as Joanna Hoffman was also a highlight. I'd definitely recommend it, it is probably my favourite movie I've seen this year (full disclosure: I've seen about three).
