Just haven't bothered to do it yet.
Well do it! You'll at least get an extra slot in your ship inventory.
I'm going to find that other ship I want in the game now aren't I?
Jim Sterling's website was hit by a DDoS attack after his review. It is ridiculous how people react to these things but at the same time I can't stand the twat, so...
Im surprised you dont like him, he loves Sonic.
....I dont like him either though.
Is it safe to say that the reviews so far aren't as favourable as Hello Games would have liked?
I dont actually know, I havent read one review yet.
I've not read any reviews either. I don't think the main sites feel they have spent enough time with the game yet. I'm not expecting them to be glowing anyway. It is, as you said before, a Marmite game. And not really mainstream either, even though there are some casual aspects to its mechanics. It would have been treated as such if it weren't for all the attention Sony has lavished on it over the last couple of years I think.
I haven't seen any "final" reviews, but there is definitely a lot more negativity around the game than they would have wanted. IGN for example with their "review in progress" seem rather disappointed by it. I think I'm going to get a Steam Refund and pick it up when it is a bit cheaper. It just sounds a bit frustrating in a few key areas, and plus it will be much better once it has a few updates under its belt.
Probably going to be hard to gauge for a while - I think when a game has this much pre-release hype though you'll always have people who can't wait to tear it down.
Just read this review: http://www.videogamer.com/reviews/no_mans_sky_review.html
I don't agree with all his points - and ETS is not dull as fuck! Fuck you! - but that seems a fair assessment.
Just 2 hours and we'll know if the PC version is an awesome version of the game, or a stinking pile of shit, or somewhere in between. Please be good!
I cant decide what path to take!
What do you mean?
Well there are a few different paths. To the center of the universe, following those two people that your character talks about occassionally or following the Atlus path (which I thought was to the center of the universe at first). I'm probably most interested to get to the center of the universe but I just had a really interesting Atlus experience which has made me want to carry on that way. Only problem is that its in the opposite direction to the center of the universe.
That makes me think I might have missed some stuff. I only remember seeing the one message about those characters but I haven't seen anything further about them.
I havent seen anything about those characters since probably the first system I was on.
Also, I still havent managed to stop scanning when I mean to run yet!
