Ah ok, I was just wondering what seemed to have been getting people excited for it thats all.
Playing FFXIV is really getting me in the mood to play other FF games again. I think its the great use of music between areas, making me very nostalgic. I could probably try and go back to FFX on my Vita.
...and now that I've found out you can transfer saves from the Vita to PS4 versions Im thinking about buying the FFX/X2 Remastered Version on PS4!
Hmmm, I never did play XII so this could be interesting
I never got on with FFXII, got about half way before giving up.
So would any of you want anymore remakes in the same way the new FFVII seems to be going? Full on graphics, fighting system etc? Personally I would actually quite like to see VI fully redone.
I'd be happy with VI or VIII.
Kind of tempted to buy this, turn off random battles and just enjoy the story.
It's worth noting the iOS edition includes an option to turn enemy encounters off on the world and area maps
That is so awesome, I wonder if the remake will have something like that.
FFVI up on Steam.
Oh awesome, I'll have to buy that.
Hmm, I'll probably have some of that. How much though?
I expect it'll be £10.99 with a quid or two off at launch
I won't be buying it, realised it's the crappy mobile port, best to just play the original on an emulator. To quote:
It's things like this which is why I don't have faith in the FFVII remake.
I bought FFIX today and started playing it earlier. I do also own it on Vita but I just found the blurry backgrounds mixed with the blurry characters sprites just a bit too difficult to deal with, especially on the smaller screen. This PC version is much better though! The cleaned up sprites do look a bit odd against the blurry backgrounds which had no work done to them (as you can see below) but I'm happy enough. Its quite nice as well playing a FF game that I barely know anything about. IX always was the one that just seemed to pass me by.
