Odd, you've got a 970 right?
It seems like it should be running better than that, even on a 670.
At that resolution I'd at least expect a constant 60fps on medium, if not on higher settings.
Is that with vsync off?
I thought the game felt really sluggish. The framerate was okay, but it just felt slow.
Like I've said before I get superb silky smooth performance (around 90fps) on highest settings at 1440p, so something is amiss.
Could it be conflicting with Gsync?
Works fine with my Gsync monitor.
If only there was someone else here with a 980Ti, Gsync monitor and who also likes Bruce Springsteen to compare...
DOOM – Update #1 Now Available
A photo mode sounds cool and the option to have the weapon positioned like it is in the original game is a nice touch.
£19.19 at GMG using the discount code SLICK20. Fuck.
Couple of shots I took quick the other day using the new photo mode:
It's a pity Doom Slayer isn't visible in photo mode, makes it feel a bit redundant. It says "beta" though so perhaps they'll add him later.
I didn't realise you'd already bought it.
Yeah I caved and bought it on the last day of the Steam sale, because I'm weak and pathetic.
No you're not, it's an awesome game, you should have bought it sooner though.
Unless it's called No Man's Sky. or Guild Wars
Just finished the main game, took me a lot longer than it should have, due to the Rift arriving I guess.
Excellent game, bloody hard final boss though.
I finished the first trip into Hell earlier (I assume I'll be going back there later in the game). I really like the level design, not just how great it all looks but the layouts too. It feels more akin to multiplayer map design, which makes sense given that encounters with the demons are often arena-like.
You are correct.
I agree about the level design, really good, it often felt like I was playing multiplayer against a load of enemies.
Im still only just a bit further than you c0Z. I still think its a great game but its become another victim of my gaming apathy.
