Starts on February 8th.
I saw the trailer and I'm honestly not really feeling it. Don't me wrong, Saul was a great character in Breaking Bad but I'm beginning to doubt how they can build a show around him.
Looks good to me.
I think my expectations are too high, I think it'll be an enjoyable show but I don't think it will achieve the greatness of BB.
I was never expecting it to be up there with BB but I think it will be good in it's own right.
I might wait until the first series has finished before watching. Hope it's good though,
This apparently from a magazine review.
"I'll just say it: The first few episodes that I saw are better than Breaking Bad. They are smarter. They are sharper. I have never seen a prequel handled so cleverly."
Whoa. I mean it sort of makes sense in a way as Breaking Bad got a lot smarter as the show went on and the latter seasons are much better than the first. Is it the same writers and everything?
The quote is from Esquire.http://www.esquire.com/blogs/culture/better-call-saul-review
Yeah it's the same writers.
Will it be on Netflix here like the last season of Breaking Bad?
It will. Coming out the day after it is on in the US. Brilliant.
Great first episode, nice that is has that air of Breaking Bad about it while being completely independent of it.
So who's watching? Everyone else think it's been brilliant so far?
Yep, love it so far.
Finally had a chance to watch the first episode yesterday. Loved it, I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I think that initial trailer didn't really give an accurate sense of the style of the show.
It gets better too.
It's basically Breaking Bad without Walt, Jesse, etc.
Have you watched any more? It's just gets better and better.
I haven't seen the latest episode yet. I've gotten addicted to House of Cards now!
